Personality
Sukuna is a sadist who is greedy, cold-hearted, and immoral. He made a statement shortly after Yuji swallowed his finger when he was reincarnated, suggesting the slaughter of women and children and comparing them to crawling maggots. He is unconcerned about the repercussions of his acts because of his immense strength, even though they affect his host, Yuji Itadori. Sukuna is well aware of his enormous power and boasts about it, brutalizing a finger bearer while patronizing and declaring his dominance over it. As a result, he is dismissive of his critics and rarely takes them seriously, even saying openly that he will destroy Satoru Gojo. These brutish characteristics, however, should not be confused with stupidity. Sukuna is cunning and cunning, keeping Yuji’s body hostage by ripping out his heart in order to force him into a Binding Vow.
Despite his shortcomings, Sukuna does have a sliver of mercy, as shown by his behavior during the Shibuya Incident, when he went out of his way to save Megumi. This was due to Megumi’s argument that he might beat him. He’s also shown the ability to respect and compliment his rivals, as evidenced by the fact that, despite having fully overpowered Jogo, he recognized his strength and told him he should be proud.
